I thought about this for almost two days and decided, Im continuing where I left of in my last writing without skipping a step. A lot of instructional videos do in chunks as well, however often times things get skipped, left out, or just not covered. Well i found this damaging and not to mention annoying too!

Where we left off last time was making sure that your work station was getting in good shape to optimize your work flow, because if your work station or pc is in shambles it can cause s many issues, such as not being able to find files for your projects, clients, team, project lead, and last but not lest your assets even. Ok you are good to go. Do you know?

The very next step, well this is a big decision isn't it.

here: I have a little some thing that will help you to figure our what this next step is.

Before you even open unity nd before you even start to watch a tutorial what is it you do really think about it. Well dont you have to think well what do i want to make style, genera, look feel. how do I want my production to go. is it VR, AR, XR, 3d 3rd person, top down 2d, 2.5 side scroll platformer?

I bet right about now your like …

however I know that

I'm here from experience to tell you first you got to,

then you take the templates you just downloaded from my google drive and you write down the details, I does not have to be a novel just follow the template to get use to doing it and keep your information clear, concise, and easy for you to go back and re read I to use as a guide and should be written so team member could read it with ease. this is even if your solo on the project. You never know when you might want some feed back or help with the build.

Ok now that this is started, what you just filled in is called a game design document or GDD for short. This is also known as a game designs living document, as for this document can change, be revised and grow with the games progression as development deems necessary for completion of the project. I would say that with out this document yes it is possible to do a project but would bet at some stage in the production you have to step back and rethink and struggle with the direction it is going in. With the GDD in play well there is a guide for you to follow and keep you, and your team on track. Now once you have done this you can venture forth and start your unity or what ever engine your using and start your build gather asses or make them from a list that will be easy to make if you follow the gdd it will tell you from the description of the game what you would need. As well now you can also look for in a specific research and find relevant tutorials to fit the need of what the project is in style type and all aspects of it this even includes the api’s

with all of that done hope will be with you as you build and hope that your not still like this

when some one comes to see you and good luck , thank you for reading.
